Rob McCarthy brings 30+ years’ experience in manufacturing and quality for early stage and established pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Prior to joining Channel Medsystems, Rob served as the Senior Director of Operations and Quality with Conceptus, Inc. Following an acquisition of Conceptus by Bayer Healthcare in 2013, Rob served as the Site Director and Senior Director of Operations and Quality. While at Conceptus/Bayer, Rob led manufacturing line transfers to multiple contract manufacturing facilities along with the implementation of several cost savings and process improvement initiatives, as well as having led the development, construction and implementation of a new medical device manufacturing facility in Costa Rica. Rob has also held manufacturing and quality leadership positions at Collagen Corporation, Coulter Pharmaceuticals and Cohesion Technologies.
